fotoprojectezaratustra

Joan Vidal Sextet continues to surprise audiences with their adaptation of the renowned symphonic poem by Richard Strauss "Also Sprach Zarathustra". Vidal uses the music material from this great work of the or-chestral literature, speculating with the sonority of the jazz sextet and also giving space to improvisation within the contemporary music language.

This is Revisiting Zarathustra, a new suite comissioned by L'Auditori de Barcelona to inaugurate the AFTERS Series Season 2013-14.
