ARRANGEMENTS BY JOAN VIDAL FOR THE NEW DISC OF EL COR INFANTIL AMICS DE LA UNIÓ (ED. LA MÀ DE GUIDO)

Joan Vidal arranges the work A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten and Dancing Day by John Rutter as a commission by the Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió. Joan Vidal has added to the original versions for children choir and harp, two papers for percussion that do not try to break with the original works, but revision of these compositions in modern times.

The Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió, one of the best treble voice choirs in the country, has recorded these arrangements on a disc brought out by La Mà de Guido that has just come out on the market. The disc will be premiered in Granollers in December and can be purchased online at http://www.lamadeguido.com and at the principal music stores in Catalonia and Spain
